The lovers of the historic estates shoot their senses when we enter a house like this.
Our imagination goes to think that this house was one of the first 500 houses to be built in Sant Cugat, when in 1920 there were just over 400 houses.
We would love to look through a hole and see the family that lived there, how they dressed, how they lived, driving these wonderful cars of the time.
Years have passed and we have the privilege of retaining in our architectural catalogue a property such as this thanks to the excellent materials that were then used for the construction of such houses.
There is now a chance for another family to keep writing their story and fill their imposing walls with more memories.
We make explain a little:
This tower of modernist influences on its decoration was built in 1920 by Eduard Maria *Balcells and *Buigas.
The original construction was a single house of just over 600 m2 which at the time the owners decided to divide it by creating two nearly identical halves, each with its plot.
The house is distributed in three floors plus a toast, with a total of 280 m2 built on a 605 m2 (2,450 squinter) plot with a road-wheeled Verdi Street and a pedestrian entry through Pahissa Street.
Once inside the farm we have the option of accessing the house by two entrances presided over by large wooden doors combined with crystal and wrought iron.
On the ground floor: The dining room, the extensive "semi-open" kitchen with peninsula, toilet and safaring with garden exit, and a large hall.
On floor +1, accessed by its elegant original iron and wood staircase we find two large double dormitories, one of them being the main suite with extensive dressing and balcony outing, bathroom and shower plate and double stack. The other double bedroom has a wall closet and study area. It is possible to easily divide this second large dormitory into two, and thus get three dormitories on the +1 floor. A total of five in the housing.
On the same floor, a bath with a bath and a balcony.
On floor +2 we find two other double dormitories with original elements of the house such as wooden beams and hydraulic soil. One of these bedrooms is in suite and has a study area, and also has access to the beautiful house tower that in turn gives way to the 30 m2 solarium terrace with spectacular empty views.
Returning to the beginning, we stand in the garden of the house, in this case with stone floor, with the possibility of establishing lawn. It has two distinct spaces, one more for enjoyment and relaxation, and the other for vehicles, also having a covered garage of almost 50 m2 with access to the cellar, and also a room that can become the water area or could be a guest space. There is the possibility of a swimming pool.
It has air conditioning in most rooms, heating by gas radiators, natural wood parquet floors.
Its location is privileged to be in one of the most heavily traded areas of Sant Cugat, for its calm and closeness on foot with the village centre and railway station, fantastic connection to the Arrabassada, Vallvidrera, AP7 and C58.
We hope you like it as much as we do!
